I’m Nisha, a social media + content strategist, writer and grateful geek.

I love stories, and my work is about helping you create good ones. I will help you be a stronger storyteller because when you’re able to share your story with more clarity, creativity and confidence, you’ll communicate for greater impact.

I’ve worked with businesses, nonprofits, writers and bloggers around the world on their brand storytelling and online communications strategies, website copywriting, and writing projects of all shapes and sizes. You can check out what my lovely clients have to say about working with me here and here.

My writing on social entrepreneurship, social impact and urban poverty has been featured on Medium, Dowser [RIP], NextBillion, HuffPost Impact X, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation blog, the Searchlight South Asia e-newsletter and Beyond Profit e-magazine [RIP].

Before becoming my own boss in 2013, I worked for a now defunct (and notorious) investment bank, a growing luxury watch company, a social impact-minded consulting firm, and an international human rights nonprofit (or two). I have degrees in Economics as both an undergrad and grad, and — because I love school — have done formal independent studies of Internet Marketing Strategies, English + Comparative Literature and Creative Writing. You can map my academic and professional journey here.

In my downtime, I’m a closet novelist (shhh!) + incurable bibliophile, city-walker + globetrotter, sea-lover, tea-drinker, doting wife, daughter, sister + friend, and child-at-heart.

I currently live in my forever hometown, New York City, and work with clients globally.
