Happy Valentine’s Day!
I know there are people who absolutely hate Valentine’s Day, but I’ve always loved it. Growing up, I remember how my mom would always give me a card or some small treasure to make me feel extra special.
For me, V-Day has never had anything to do with whether or not you’re single or attached. It’s always about celebrating love in all its forms.
Be generous to your partners, families, friends and communities. Let them feel good, even if it’s just for a split second. Just remember: there is no action too small or too big when you spread love!
This week, I’m also lovin’:
Taking first steps + keeping Mondays as my “inspiration days” + finding my business voice to Talk & Engage + remembering I’m awesome + journaling + snowfall and snow days + the weight of words + the exceptional Robin Wright and the return of House of Cards + red grapes + frozen mango margaritas + an effortless performance by Russian figure skater Evgeni Plushenko + Elinor Dashwood + the joy and wonder of rain for the first time + sleeping masks + Jodi Meadows‘s dreamy world building + the “laser-lucid lessons” of Alexandra Franzen + letters to my future self + afternoon breaks with my hubby
