Grateful Geek: Waterlogue

While doing some research for one of my current client projects, I came across the iPhone app Waterlogue. And I’m obsessed (as you can see from my creations below).

It’s a simple, well-designed app that turns any photo you take into a realistic, gorgeous watercolor painting. There are different watercolor filters you can play with to create and delight.

I love capturing random and special moments on my iPhone, so it was love at first sight when I tried out Waterlogue. I can’t stop myself from experimenting with nearly every photo I take.

What a unique, simple way to find pleasure in the everyday!

This week, I’m also lovin’:

Quiet afternoons and winter sunlight + getting down to brass tacks + generous online communities + the tide of inspiration + good talks and contradictory ideas + the “Better Bio Challenge” + Monster Loyalty and newfound respect for Lady Gaga + Pinterest surfing + new home hunting and imagining a fresh living space + short(er) hair fantasies (part deux) + the YA fantasy world of Rae Carson + fancy water + my mom’s sense of humor + oversized sweatshirts and embroidered shawls + pretty pastels + turning off digital noise + mountains of red grapes + National Hugging Day + holding my hubby’s hand
